HDPE – High density polyethylene.

High-density polyethylene is a polymer from the family of olefinic polymers (such as polypropylene), or polyethylenes. Its formula is (-CH2-CH2-)n. It is a thermoplastic polymer made up of repeating units of ethylene. It is designated as HDPE (High Density Polyethylene) or HDPE (High Density Polyethylene). This material is used, among other things, to make disposable plastic containers.
